Questions

A few things people usually want to know before they start a House, or before they walk into one.

What is a House?
A House is a private place for thoughts, feelings, and things you do not want to say everywhere. You write in it the way you would write to someone close. Then you decide who gets a key.
What is a Room?
A House has a Common Area and, if the owner wants, one or more Rooms. A Room is a quieter corner inside the same House, and each post can sit in the Common Area, in one Room, or in both.
Can someone enter without a key?
No. Someone needs a way in — either a key from the owner, or a memory clue they can answer. Without one, the door stays closed.
What is a memory clue?
A memory clue is a small question set by the owner that only the right person would be able to answer. It is another way in for someone who was never handed a key.
What can a House owner see about visitors?
An owner may see a visitor's registered name, their email address, and when they came by, including date and time. This is intended to help the owner recognise who visited.
Can I cancel Plus at any time?
Yes. You can cancel from owner settings or the plan area. Plus stays active until your next billing date, and payments already made are non-refundable. See Billing & Refunds.
Will I keep my founding price?
The founding price of US$1.99 per month is available to users who start a paid Plus subscription on or before 30 June 2027, Hong Kong time. Founding subscribers keep US$1.99 per month for as long as their subscription remains active. New Plus subscriptions starting on or after 1 July 2027, Hong Kong time, pay the regular price of US$2.99 per month. If a founding subscription ends, a later re-subscription is charged at the price then in effect.
